We will be opening our doors again on Saturday 4th of July and welcome old friends and new. Your safety and that of our staff is of paramount importance to us, so please understand that we must comply with the government guidance “Staying Covid-19 Secure”.

Maintaining a Safe Environment…..

We have created an environment that is as safe and sanitised as possible as per the government guidelines. All staff will have their temperature taken before service and asked to certify that they feel fit and well. There will be sanitising stations throughout the pub and garden and there will be a member of staff dedicated to cleaning and ensuring that all surfaces, door handles, payment machines and menus etc. are regularly sanitised. Tables and chairs will be placed at least one metre apart and will be thoroughly sanitised after each customer departure. There will be a one way system in place, all entries from the front and all exits from the side door. No re-entry from the side door.

Bookings only…..

We can only take table bookings for both drinkers and diners, unfortunately walk in customers cannot be accommodated at this time. Your booking information will be safely kept (as per Data Protection Regulations) for tracing purposes, should it be needed. Drinking or eating at the bar will not be permitted. Each table booking will be allocated a 90 minute slot. We politely request all customers vacate their table as soon as their time is
up to allow us enough time to clean and sanitise before the next booking. We will operate on a drinkers only policy in the bar area and diners in any of our three restaurant areas, the garden can accommodate both drinkers and diners

What to expect when you arrive…..

You will be welcomed by a member of staff, given hand sanitiser and shown to your prebooked a table. A waiter/waitress who will be wearing a face mask, as will all our front of house team, will give you menus and a wine list. Keeping a safe distance he/she will take your drink and food orders at your table. Cutlery, condiments and serviettes will be delivered to you on a tray. You will also be asked to collect drinks and food when ready, from the service station which will be pointed out to you. If you have ordered more than one course one member of your party will be asked to stack plates and place them on a designated table.


Children must remain seated at all times, except when using the toilet, and will not be allowed to run around between tables.

Toilet Facilities…..

The use of toilets strictly one person at a time and you will be required to use hand sanitiser before and afterwards.

Smoking Area…..

Smoking at the front of the pub is not permitted and customers are asked to use the designated area in the car park. Please use the front door to re-enter, no re-entry from the side door.


Payment will be taken at your table and at this time we will only be able to accept credit/debit cards, preferably contactless. We will not be able to take cash.
You will be asked to leave by the side door and not the front door by which you came in, where there will be a sanitising station.
